I strive to earn your respect and admiration for my work. This work is about creating photographs that will move your spirit by making the most beautiful images possible in a story-book.

Photos that convey the feelings of your day are provided in a documentary style.  Every photograph is composed deliberately  and creatively.

Though my style is candid in nature, during the formal shots the style is elegant and classic.  Close attention is paid to the details.

The key to my work is staying connected with my clients. I believe this is the way to capture the day's feelings. To gain the trust and permission of others so to step into their world and share in their experience is key. People who hire me seek a different approach; not so much a traditional wedding album, but a book of beautiful photos, telling the story of the day.

I work with a variety of clients with different needs and expectations. Most of my clients want to go to a beautiful place where they convey a certain feeling. So they choose their site carefully as well as their photographer's vision. I set out to combine the content with the technique to create a powerful portrait of my subject in the place. This to me is a subtle and powerful difference between good and great. When exposure, composition and the art elements are in place we have a good image. But then I keep pushing for more. When the shot is no longer a good photograph but something that transcends time and place. When my client stops seeing herself, the flaws in her dress or hair and just feels the tranquility, the humor or the raw feelings then we have something great.
